Our Own Field of Dreams…

Ray Lamontagne at the Beacon Theater Night 1

Ongoing posts…between my tears falling…

Jolene

Standing ovation for an encore…of course. “Peanut butter is AMAZING”

Ok, so the pictures are terrible but that’s just because they were taken on my BB.  The show was incredible though.  It was Ray, all by himself the way that other who have seen him with the band have known him to take a few songs in the middle of a set and go solo.   This demeanor makes you hang on every word and makes each of those words seem like a really thoughtful and unexpected gift.

I am really looking forward to heading back there tonight but need to get the set list at some point to find out what Lucinda Williams song he covered.
