So for mine, my name is ruralpatrick and my feed to import would be:

Please note that if you have a space in your name it needs to be replaced with a – so if my name was rural patrick it would have to be rural-patrick.

This is key because it gets everyone out there to check out your post and build traffic to the site.  I bet a majority of people out there we are friends with will fit the demo we are and are speaking to.

Also, make sure you “tag” and “categorize” your posts.  I have been going back through and adding them…see if you can follow how I am organizing them.  It makes it easier for  search engines to find us as well as linking past posts and finding content.

It may be slow to start but keep at it…I really appreciate your involvement.  People will actually start finding us if we keep it up.

***Ideas to get started

You can see how I have been using it to share.  Here are some ideas to get you going:

·        See a funny or interesting sign?  Take a pic and upload under signs, signs everywhere signs and you can see what I see

·        Going to a concert or event?  Take some pictures

·        Remember something funny about what you liked or did as a kid?  High School?

·        See a good movie?  Hear a killer/awful new album?

*** Mobile Posting Options

For those who have unlimited data plans on their phones, this makes it a lot easier.. use an app.  It will let you find stuff on the go, post it and not have to wait to be on a computer.  Here are a few options:

When putting in the wordpress blog you may have to use this address:

Anyone who doesn’t have something like this can also be set up to update via email just let me know if that’s what you need to make it easier.
